Despite what anyone says, the sunsetting, not so heavy MMO beats are the way for Destiny. Been here since Jan 2015 and this is the worst I’ve ever seen the franchise. Back when people were saying it was dead there was a passion in those who stayed that I’m not seeing now. Forsaken, the Taken King, Rise of Iron and House of Wolves were the pinnacle Destiny experiences.
I will see this to the end but it does sadden me to see the franchise like it is.

Solo killed the game? Not bad story telling? Not story telling focused on alternative lifestyles? Not having an @ Bungie group for every perceived "marginalized" group of people while ignoring Veterans? Not having terrible launch after terrible launch? Not bad game play? Not bad RNG? Weight gate I am looking at you! Not making the game harder? not sun setting? - I know several players who quit then and never came back Not players being tiered of nerf after berf and exotics being turned off because it can be abused in a raid or PVP? Not making PVE main suffer so PVP which is SO broken can be a just a smidge less broken? Not devs saying they want players to cry and laugh about it? None of the bad decisions and poor implementations that bungie has made for 3 years has anything to do with the lack of passion or trust on the players part? I would say that if you think making the game a bit more solo player friendly has done all the damage, you are so wrong that it isn't even conceivable.
