It's really just how bad the meta is, I'm fairly good and the skill based matchmaking for control seems to love putting me in the same lobby as people who are in the Ascendant rank, but every time I inspect them, they're just meta hogs. I play warlock so I don't have much to work with, and I can say that playing warlock is so much harder than playing hunter. I played hunter just an hour ago and it's a night and day difference. It's not that people are super sweaty, it's that they're using guns and load outs where you don't have to try anywhere near as hard to win fights
