Ignition based exotic for warlocks
I'd love to see some exotic armor for warlock that centers around solar ignitions. Currently, the only exotic armor for warlock that somehow ties to scorch / ignition is Dawn Chorus, and it only affects scorch damage (whitch is good, don't get me wrong), but I'd really like to have something purely around ignitions, because the solar build I have the most fun with is all about igniting everything (I am using Chorus in it). It could be st like increasing ignition damage and inherently giving you the effect of ember of char or ashes (which wouldn't stack with the fragments in the subclass, that yould be too op), or instead of the fragment thing, it would boost abilitiy regen every time you hit / kill st with an ignition or leave an area that would continue to scorch enemies in it (okay that might be too op, but you get the idea). Just ideas, but essentially anything that would do st with ignitions would be awesome.

For Gambit or PvE I like to pair Starfire Protocol with the Tessellation fusion rifle. SP gives you an extra fusion grenade charge, you feed one to Tessellation, and with the catalyst Tessellation applies your subclass’ verb to combatants, in this case Scorch.

2 RepliesI think the old "igniting touch" melee effect would be a very good match for a warlock exotic. (Defeating burning [scorched] enemies makes them explode [mini ignition], enemies damaged by this explosion are burned)

3 RepliesAn exotic that makes snap get two charges and increases scorch by a few points. Or an exotic that makes enemies that are killed by snap explode and spread scorch like hunters exotic arm calaban. On a melee miss it could increase melee regen for a few seconds as well.

Does any class have an exotic thats dedicated o ignitions? 90% sure warlock is the only one with dawn chorus with the increased scorch. Not saying they shouldn't do it. Just asking if all classes could get a tweak to existing exotics for it.

19 RepliesIf we got that, then ignitions would get nerfed into the ground expeditiously. Warlocks aren't allowed to be strong. That's reserved for titans and hunters.

1 ReplyYou might try Prismatic, using Synthoceps exotic class item paired with Apotheosis or Inmost. For a time Syntho was buffing ignition damage. I don't know if that has been fixed or if it was intended, just a suggestion. I used it last season in GMs and it was very strong albeit not on the same level as consecration, obviously. Still quite fun. Song of Flame, Snap, Helion. Dragons Breath exotic or Lord of Wolves.
