Edited by TripleF73: 5/22/2025 9:24:00 AMI mean this is the least of Bungie’s worries at the moment. HOWEVER, it’s just one more ridiculous decision taken by people that don’t play on console. Or play test it on console. Or play test it period? My goodness I’m sick of this company. Love the game but every single daft decision they take seems to be killing D2 in a death by a 1000 cuts. Edit:- on reflection this idea of deterministic recoil seems to be another example of either padding playtime by testing every -blam!--ing gun or increasing engagement metrics for their content creator friends to make videos about the recoil on each gun. C’mon Sony, everyone hates you but, get there and clean house at Bungie, bring in people excited to fix and make more content for D2.

Nah, that makes far too much sense. Slow it down

Ya dude thats what im talking about!! Sweet im not the only one that absolutely cant stand it.
-
And get rid of deterministic altogether. It messes people up more who are on consoles and don’t even use other ‘devices’.

6 RepliesDeterministic recoil sucks. Nobody asked for it.

no modded console people want that.. if anything make it worse.

What I'm saying is- recoil should word more like the first game.
Bro... 90 gives up and down... 100 is offset by 10 more degrees

3 RepliesEdited by Deus: 4/29/2025 5:21:45 PMWhen did they change recoil? I get arrowhead break on everything to reduce recoil. Is it broken?

It should negate deterministic recoil and be completely vertical. It should also give can extra kill every 30 seconds lol.
-
Of course it should. Typical of the world we live in though, spin spin spin until you forget the original meaning! 100 recoil obviously infers perfect recoil.

100 should be vertical, as the icon under the stat represents. This deterministic rubbish is awful. I feel like it's worse on controller/console too, maybe the awful retical shake and bloom just make it feel bad.
