I need to unlink my epic game account.
My epic game account CANNOT be authenticated I tried everything possible to do it. I get an error every time i tried something even with clearing cookies and everything or using a private window. I cannot use cross save because of this. I do not need it in any way, i want to remove it. I know that account are permanently linked, but I do not want to be stuck on playing on console when I have a pc, I do not understand why do I have to authenticate an account that is not even useful to link my ps5 characters to steam.

Bungie will not forcibly unlink them under any circumstances. This is the fact of the matter, and it won't change even if you keep asking for it. Cross-save is all or nothing, all linked accounts have to be included. Could you try logging out of Bungie.net and logging back in with the Epic credentials? Does that log you back into this account? If so, then Epic will be automatically authenticated in the cross-save screen.
