Help with console support
Issues - error code 0x8027025, slow performance of loading on console, controller responsiveness being slower, freezing, possible hardware problems, Destiny/xbox support taking too long to start up.
Ever since the xbox live outage on March 3rd (which Microsoft has said little to nothing about in terms of accountability, for all we know it might be some kind of cyber attack they aren’t telling anyone about), my 7 year old console has been running slower than a desktop with windows 95 installed. Icons loading slower, things like xbox support crashing because it takes too long to start up (same message I got trying to boot up Destiny). Even the connectivity of my controller and it’s responsiveness has been impacted. At one point, a D2 update went from 0% to 100% in milliseconds.
I’ve tried turning it on and off, logging out of my account, checked add-ons (dlc) for D2, as well as network connection, and leaving it for 24 hours. Little to nothing, afraid to reset as I can’t recall where to back up my Microsoft account’s contents.
One technician I spoke to said it might be a hard-drive issue or the cooling system (fan) starting to fail, in which case my best option would either be hard drive replacement or getting a new console entirely (transferring my xbox one’s contents onto either a series S or X).
Does anyone have ideas about what could be causing this problem on my xbox one or is the goose just completely cooked?
