Its gifts were given to the old people, a good people rid of the world’s wickedness, of a kingdom that once was; it ruled that kingdom.” Tenno sat up straight on the now charred couch. “I see now, a cloaked figure sitting on a throne…a queen? Perhaps, a queen of Iron? The Iron Age was way before the modern Iron Lords, it seems.” A coughing fit passed. “She, born of darkness, raised in darkness, wrought in darkness, carried with her pain, pain caused from thousands of years of endless killing and running, all for her eternal vengeance. Vengeance on the wicked, the evil, the ones whom her parents sacrificed their immortality to save her from. The visions become clearer…the light being, she was raised by them, a mother unto her… Ahhh, now it makes sense…she was an immortal amongst an age of immortals, only a handful there were, but enough to start a story of sorts. She had many confusing times throughout her ten thousand years of life, in order: three thousand years of slaughter, fueled by her rage; one thousand years of reign; four thousand years of meditation and genocide; two thousand more of reign; and currently, ten thousand years of rest. Over the last two thousand years, she shaped the world into a better place and, in turn, formed bonds with new people, one of whom happened to be the traveler before he became a sphere of deceit. The two felt a connection, but her parasite quickly severed it, for he meant to draw her away from this world. In her sorrow and depression, her burden of pain was piled on afterwards. Her parasite offered rest, an escape from the burdens of eternal life; she took it without a single hesitation, and the parasite put her to rest, deep under the kingdom, in the protection of its hive. The traveler is of light, but its light has been taken over by wickedness or influence or some other being, a lighthouse leading to demise. The last remnant of pure light in this universe hides with the true darkness, and these two beings lie in eternal sleep under the protection of a parasite: a gravemind. How do I know it’s eternal sleep? Because what other explanation do we have but that some godlike power contains it; the traveler can’t contain it with its measly blighted light. SIVA is the only answer to what this parasite is. It was replicated from an older version, by humanity, thought to be perfected, when it was really a direct downgrade, foolish Bray… no idea with what you were meddling with. This gravemind made this old SIVA to make himself stronger, presumably, and the being he was in symbiosis with, which was most likely the being of true darkness. Why doesn't it wake the darkness up, and why does the last being of light reside with them, you ask? Hypothetically, the Gravemind does not wake the darkness up because it either can’t or it was never supposed to; maybe the reason the darkness was put to eternal rest is that it was simply too tired to go on and was given a mercy of rest by its parasite. The light, though? Maybe it is the same for the light-being, or perhaps the Parasite has a connection to the light and does not want it killed, captured, or injured, so it took the light into eternal rest with the darkness, or maybe it has something to do with light and darkness living in harmony, yin and yang, perhaps they are a part of each other, or maybe the light is required for life to go on? It does not matter in the long run. Once the pawns of the traveler find a crack in the time loop zones, they’ll escape, find the door, free the darkness, and it will cleanse the Sol System of life and begin again. Give yourself to darkness, and only then will you see. *coughs violently but continues chuckling manically*[/spoiler] -

This entire time, the traveler has been creating these areas of contained time that repeat over and over again, and that we play over and over again, known as vanguard ops, nightfalls, repeatable ‘campaigns,’ raids, dungeons, etc, and most recently, the portal. Like a vex simulation almost… yet the vex are also contained in these infinite looping ‘simulations’ made by the traveler! It all makes sense now… the traveler has made these loops time and time before with different alien races for its own entertainment, witnessing every death, attempt, loss, and victory. It is the real evil, which means, the winnower, the so-called ‘darkness’, the ones who know of the truth of the traveler, is a placeholder for the true darkness. There's a reason the traveler stayed on earth for so long… It's trying to keep us from finding something, unlocking a door, and freeing an old evil that would most likely destroy the traveler as vengeance for its doings; this is the true darkness, and it hides deep below. How do I know? I’ve had the feeling that something hid deep below on Earth, a hellmouth of vengeance and pain somewhere in old Russia, that's been there since before Rise of Iron, before the traveler, and this begs the question: Is true darkness, this hidden being, really evil? Or a deliver? They all thought I was mad... JUST WAIT AND SEE, It will all come together... *starts laughing like a madman*[/spoiler] -
