So, played Destiny 1 when first released, bought all expansions and all characters are over level 20 (prior to 2017). Recently picked up Destiny 2 and wanted to transfer characters over (same account/network in this case PSN), as far as I'm aware, items don't transfer over but characters do. My characters don't seem to show up but I believe I fit all requirements needed to do so. Destiny 2 acknowledged my achievements in Destiny 1 but is forcing me to make a new character. Any help would be appreciated. TL;DR - Characters aren't showing up though I meet the requirements for them to do so. Also tried to contact bungie directly but they told me to post here so.
