Program can't start due to mysterious missing file (win7, 8, 10)
Getting this error after battleye starts
Windows 7
This has been reported on Windows 8 and 10 as well.
Reinstalls haven't helped, replacing dll hasn't worked, reportedly upgrading to Windows 10 has had some success but also some failures.
Patience is required, but silence isn't

Our issue made it to the top of the issue list in todays TWAB, so we have some progress, however shallow it may be.

1 ReplyOK I got my windows 10 to work I ran sfc /scannow and it fixed some file then I went to settings in steam and ran all the check file integrity and where and a few other boxes like location then rebooted the machine and when the anti-cheat box popped up you must accept and install that. then it just loaded right up. Now my windows 7 machine is still no go it wont load on that and I have tried everything under the sun and it just wont work.... Hope I was some help !
