I'm awfully sorry to say I'll "abandon the ship" soon enough.
One of my clan members kindly lent me a hand to choose and asmble a new PC on which win 10 should run smoothly. Cost me a (huge) fortune but I'd be able to play destiny 2 in a week or so.
To be frank, I don't really think bungie will fix this fatal error in months... maybe even years?...
(All of this reminds me of the cyberpunk 2077 incident. Not a good year for the gaming industry I guess.)
Good luck fellow guardians.
I still hope you can find a way out of this troublesome situation.

Got my new PC with Win 10 pro 64. Problem is almost solved. But I'll still be checking on this topic. There are so many players missing a whole week. Bungie is acting irresponsible now.

If all this doesn't work, then maybe it's time to quit. R6S new season is coming soon. I would not waste my time on a game whose dev team don't even know how to make their own program work in the right way. And don't get me wrong. I'm a loyal and constant player since season of dawn. My friends are still saving some dungeon progress for me to grind armors and weapons. But Light be praised. Am I glad now that I haven't pre-odered the witch queen.
