Program can't start due to mysterious missing file (win7, 8, 10)
Getting this error after battleye starts
Windows 7
This has been reported on Windows 8 and 10 as well.
Reinstalls haven't helped, replacing dll hasn't worked, reportedly upgrading to Windows 10 has had some success but also some failures.
Patience is required, but silence isn't
If you're having the same problem, please post here so we can keep the pressure up.

Our issue made it to the top of the issue list in todays TWAB, so we have some progress, however shallow it may be.

1 ReplyThanks a lot for making this thread, if nothing else at least we can keep pressuring Bungie. I've also encountered the same bug, running Destiny 2 on Windows 7 was never a problem, besides the super low fps in cutscenes since beyond light, but ever since the Season of the Lost update it won't even launch the game. The game doesn't even start loading or anything it just dies with a missing " " error message. Lets keep this tread alive
