How to hit crits with sunshot?
I like almost can’t hit crits with it with the wonky recoil, any tips for this? I don’t have the catalyst so if the catalyst helps a lot then I’ll get it, but any tips for crits on sunshot? Thanks.

It can very well hit crit spots, if you're having trouble getting precision kills, tickle the target's hp with a body shot them aim for the crit spots.

Every Handcannon is like a rythm game. Take it into the tribute hall, get the angling of the sticks right to where your reticle always returns to the same point after firing, then master the rythm shot after shot letting it fall back to the head/crit. Not forcing it.

15 Repliestry to pace your shots. dont fire at full RPM if your recoil control isn’t too good. just take a bit to practice in pve, then go into pvp once you’re comfortable.

Thanks for all the tips guys, y’all really helped me, I got the catalyst and it made sunshot a whole new gun and now I can hit crits and get that crisp 3 tap! :D thank you all again, good luck with everything! :D

Tilt the stick slightly in a downward diagonal towards left. I would practice at the tribute hall till you get comfortable with the recoil, it’s a bit awkward at first but the catalyst does help a lot

2 RepliesYou cant fire at the max fire rate sun shot has quite a bit of bloom to deal with. I Manage the recoil in a pattern with either a long short short or short short long pattern between shots. I believe coolguy has a video for how he uses handcannons on YouTube he mainly plays on xbox. I've been trying to work on my handcannon aim as well but its definitely difficult when everyone is running autos.

1 ReplyCatalyst helps. Plus the guy below saying to take an extra fraction of a second to let it settle and aim is correct. That gun takes practice to use well in pvp. Having said that, it's a pve gun. Use Ace or Thorn or even Rose in pvp.

4 RepliesDont ever spam shots especially with sunshot take the time to aim and guarantee another headshot(by take the time i dont mean scope in for 18 seconds like its a sniper just in between shots take like a fraction of a second to readjust and aim.

2 RepliesAlways aim a bit below the head (the chin area / the bottom portion of vex crit) and, if you play with a controller, slightly pull away from the recoil

What I did, shoot ,count to 1 shoot again. Hip fire and what the cursor shrink back down and it will make more sense. You can’t spam it.

When I figure it out I’ll let you know 😅 assuming you want that for pvp right? Pve it’s best used against things that are killed easily anyway.

1 ReplyI hate Sunshot's bulky frame and not-so-helpful reticle. I've always had a problem with land shots reliably that I just spam until the enemy is dead. Lol
