I thought they were retiring Faction Rallies
So I login to Destiny today to see we're having a competition between three groups to see which one people like more. With rewards based on who wins, determined though bounties we complete. I could have sworn though that Bungie said there were no plans to bring back faction rallies, or am I wrong?

1 ReplyBungie reskinned the rallies. If I remember correctly, dead orbit won most rallies, then new monarchy,and I dont think FWC ever won. I'm thinking maybe they abandoned it because the outcome was pretty consistent. I can't possibly see the out come of this being predictable. Its not like there is one class that is more popular than the others. The fact I've killed a few hundred more titans than warlocks, and a few thousand more hunters than both other classes is simply an anomaly. The only absolute certainty..........well I'm sorry warlocks better luck next time😆.

2 RepliesI would've much rather have it be a competition between factions rather than classes. There's already enough hate between classes, we didn't need another event to pit different classes against each other.

1 ReplyThere are no rewards being given based on who wins. It right away gives you the class item and a few hours of playing will give you whichever ghost shell you want.

2 RepliesIf I remember correctly they said that factions were coming back in season 7. Obviously that didn't happen and they stayed silent for over a year about it, other than having the community managers say they have no plans at this point. So two years later Luke comes out with the directors cut giving his reason factions are not coming back. The problem with his reasons is it doesn't match what the community asked for for two years.

Nope your 100% correct and that's what they should've done and with that all new armor ornament sets for said faction rallies that aren't sold by eververse but earned through participating in the faction rally. This this game needs a vendor reset heck I'd take any armor from d1 as a good substitute to getting the same armor rehashed as armor 2.0 versions without even a reskin.
