Plenty of weapons are crutches as well, jotun, shotguns, etc. Luna was a symptom of the problem in the community and crucible

Special are used way more in quick play with even less skill and higher reward, Bungie also could’ve fixed Luna without hurting it like they did. All weapons currently in the meta require little to no skill and once the new meta starts it’s going to be the same mess as now.
