I agree. Gambit private match? Probably this is to cater the youtubers to advertise the game mode.

When Gambit first came out it was a big ask, i know it seems like a while ago but yeah it was a logical decision since its already built and they have a model for it with PvP. The Gambit hype eventually died down but during Season 4 Gambit population was incredibly high since it was new

No, right when gambit released alot of people asked for Gambit Private Matches. That request has died down because reddit doesn't like to rehash requests when there are more important things to discuss. That being said, yes, Gambit private matches were asked for a couple of months ago.

I mean to be fair that requires not only an entire restructure of their servers, but likely transferring all the data of our characters around. Dedicated servers would likely be added in D3 if they add them.

Well, if we are being honest, it died down with the game itself..lets call it what it is. The problem here seems to me that Bungie have no meaningful content and have waited MONTHS too long to release something that some people wanted that long AGO... i have no idea whats going on over there at all..
