If you had cheat engine installed on you computer you should be banned anyway as you have obviously used it on games in the past.

thats a big OOF Ban-wise, its always a perma-ban with Bungie. You can try to repeal it but your chances are slim. As for refund or fixes, i do not know. Most likely you wont get a refund since its digital, but you already has hours on it so they could or could not refund you. I could be wrong about the refund.

2 RepliesWell...if cheat engine was open/running while you (or “your brother”) were playing D2, then that’s the reason for the ban & was NOT on accident. Bungie has repeatedly warned not to have those types of programs opened while running D2.
