So after finally spawning the servitor this happened.
Long story short, we spawned our servitor. The other team knew so they backed out and sent me the message above.
Played many many games after that one and no luck.
Edit:- I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Update:- We just killed the boss and the quest dropped. I've almost stopped playing Gambit after what happened to me with these guys. Bungie really should look into this so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Edit:- Alot of people are angry because I shared this. Believe me you wouldn't be so angry if this situation happened to you. If you ignore this, soon enough it will become a problem and people will talk about it in the forums. Also it might've happened to people who don't have access to b.net and in all seriousness ingame reporting does nothing.

6 RepliesI'm a bit confused about the chat message. Who initiated it? If it was you that was bragging about the servitor spawning then you should have expected the other team to do what they did. So, who said "no servitor for you" and who said "wrecking you is more rewarding"? Also, what was in the very first text that is blacked out?

Dang man that stinks I saw a video earlier today where the servitor spawned and a guy went through the portal and killed the entire enemy team with malfeasance. Some destiny players are just such scum and it’s also stupid that people are getting mad at you for that.

A simple report doesn't do a thing, if you face this kind of things share as much as possible, even if only makes more people do the same, it eventualy will grow to a point bungu will have to do something

1 ReplyI tried the first 2 days stacked and never had him. After 65 games my friends began falling of so I just solod. Saw him the first game solo... I finally got him on game 140, was teased twice and joined one where I got to see the other team get it as soon as I joined before I finally got him. No exaggerations. My only point is to offer those still hunting some stats. It's rough out there, keep up the good fight. When I won I messaged the person on my team that kept sniping all the invaders and told him my children will sing of his praises.

To all the people complaining about how Exotic quests should not be RNG drops, don’t forget that D1’s Exotic quests were all RNG drops too.

I'm on the third part of the quest now and I have to play, win and bank lots of motes in gambit. Can't be arsed as it's a shitshow in there at the moment with the excessive 'help' buff to losing team. I will complete it one day but I've no desire to grind gambit anymore. It's not as awesome as they made out in the trailers

It shouldn't be RNG. Just have a set objective to get it to spawn. 1 rank reset maybe? Chaperone, ace and wish ender don't have any crappy RNG like that and they're exotic quests. They're proof that exotic quests don't need the extra grind to get them in the first place, let alone have a miniscule chance for the required enemy to spawn as well as a win condition when gambit is designed to help the losing team gain the lead and win. IT DOESN'T WORK!

to people saying that those rogues should be gambit banned, no, instead, bungie should just permanently DISABLE malfeasance for them, so they grind out for it and complete the quest and..... cant use it at all lol.
