I personally play QuickPlay PvP a lot. We keep track of all player activity using D2 Checklist. Maximum Inactivity Time is 1 Month, after this time any member will be kicked. Player population is low, so we try to retain as many active players as posible. Send a Clan Request and you will be accepted after reviewing your profile. Make sure you are not already in a Clan. We use Microphones depending on the level of communication needed. We use the Destiny Companion App to interact out of game, no 3rd party apps needed.
