Listen, the game isnt bad in general. It just isnt the same destiny that all of us d1 veterens are use to. There is no grind period therefore the game got boring quick. As far as eververse goes I really dont care what they do with it. If I want the gear she has I will just grind bright dust or engrams. The only mistake bungie made with eververse was locking all the dawning gear in there. They should of gave us dawning engrams everytime we leveled up. They also should of added quests or a milestone book to make it more interesting. To me d2 is a watered down version of d1 at this point. The only fun thing to do is play with your friends. Hopefully things change soon but i dont expect them to. wild man out.

Playing with my friends and brother make literally everything fun. The Heroic Strikes are exciting to play along with stuff like patrols and crucible when you play with friends.

I dont play anywhere near as much as i did in d1 but when i do its with my son or friends. To me thats the only thing bringing me back right now. Hit 335 and have all exotics and all prophecies done so yeah nothing else to do.

Lore is keeping me deeply invested in this game. Found out something with the prophecies (possibly). There are triangles connecting 3 circles all over the prophecy wall thing. 3 weapons that were connected were Machina Del 4, The Conqueror 2, Future Safe 10. The Machina Del 4 referenced Crota's End, specifically the Oversoul, The Abyss (specifically the thrall and beacons), and also the last phrase "a too-long-absent gibbous spark". Gibbous means moon, and with the previous description describing the Crota's End raid (possibly), it's safe to assume that it means our moon. "A too-long-absent" means missing or lost. Perhaps the Missing guardian on the moon that we found? and finally, "spark", so Missing Light? Lost Light? Maybe the mission Lost Light on our moon? The Future Safe 10 references Malok I believe. "See who's robed as a god, who stands with pride above the rest! Destroy this ancient nameless fraud! Destroy the one whose death was blessed!" See who's robed as a god, who stands with pride above the rest? Malok, Pride of Oryx. After we killed a lot of Oryx's Champions (Hands of Oryx, Eye of Oryx, Word of Oryx, etc.) and Oryx himself, the Taken Throne was open. Malok learned to use the Blight, thus he was seen as another Taken King by The Taken and Hive on the Moon. Oryx was a Taken King. Oryx was a god, so was Malok robed as a god at this time? Perhaps. He was the Pride of oryx standing above the rest. the rest could've been the champions of oryx we already slew, and perhaps even Oryx himself. "Destroy this ancient nameless fraud!" Variks only knew of the Taken Prince that rose to power on the Dreadnaught, not the exact name of them. That was Malok. We were going to kill him at the dreadnaught, but he then escaped and we later killed him on the moon in the Blighted Chalice Strike. "Destroy the one whose death was blessed!" We prevented a Taken Prince from rising to be a Taken King and possibly a Taken/Hive God. This was in a way, a blessing for us. But not just us. With Malok slain, there was no other Hive nor Taken that could take The Taken Throne, becoming the Taken King. King, that is. But we did not know about Savathun back then. Savathun could have seen this as an opportunity to rise to power as the Taken Queen, hence the named Hive and Taken we have seen in Destiny 2. Maloks death was a blessing for Savathun so she could take the Taken Throne. The Conqueror 2 I dont really know about as I still have yet to retrieve this gun. But im definetly staying in D2 till I solve this.
