I along with many others were banned for having geforce experience open which is listed as an allowed program. Also nowhere does it say an overlay will get you outright perma banned

I accidentally had GeForce experience open and FPS counter present - didn't get banned. Did try to open the Xbox Gaming Bar thing to enable Gaming Mode, but that doesn't work in Full Screen mode.
