If bungie were song writers:

Bungie: I think I finally finished the song, boss! Producer: FINALLY. It's been like, 14 months already. Let me hear it. NOW! *Bungie starts the beat* *57 seconds later* Bungie: That's a wrap! Producer: Are you seriously joking right now?! That song had one word, and it was only 57 seconds long! Bungie: We were shooting for a song that would help plug our new game. Producer: YOU KEPT REPEATING THE WORD BETA WITH THE SAME BEAT! Bungie: We know. That was just the beginning to our song... Like that snow thing that clears the path. It's not even finished yet! Producer: ... Bungie: 😅 Producer: You mean to tell me... You said you wrote a song... That isn't... Even... FINISHED?! Bungie: Well, we were hoping to hype everyone up with this, then add a buyable pass to make suckers buy the rest of our song. Producer: BUT THE SONG ISNT EVEN FINISHED?! YOU CANT LAUNCH THIS PIECE OF CRAP! ARE YOU EVEN JOKING RIGHT NOW BUNGIE?! I REALLY HOPE YOU... *Writer of all of this tries to make point* See Bungie? Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?

That was clever, but people are getting it wrong. Look at this game from a non-Destiny player's perspective. They see it as a full game, packed with content and really cool gunplay. We see it differently because we have experienced Destiny 1's issues, and now we think Destiny 2 should be substantially better.
