This would be a really nice option to have imo. I'd love to look at everything around the tower, reef or Iron Temple in first person, it would add a whole new perspective to the social areas we know and possibly love. I know these places won't be in Destiny 2, but it's just an example. The most we can do atm is stick to third person and back against a wall close enough so our camera is literally in our heads to kinda see from a first person perspective. But still wouldn't it be cool to be able to swap between first and third person. I understand the whole seeing your character thing with third person but in first person you can admire the little details, get a close up on your favorite npc's, admire your friends and fellow guardians gear without being in the middle of a battlefield, stare at the sweeper bot in the eye as it is stuck sweeping for eternity and enjoy some time looking at Petra's Boo- uhhh boots, yeah... Definetly boots.
