RAM: Welcome back, Berriole. We're closing this incident.
Berriole has returned from Mars.
QUI: Good riddance.
BER: I'll put the final reports into the system and return the Owl Sector to standby.
RAM: Before you do—for our records—any success to report, Liaison to the Vanguard Shun?
Ramos wants Shun's relationship status to go onto into Owl Sector's records, perhaps feeling that this crisis may have brought Ikora and Shun closer together.
SHU: None whatsoever. Warlocks are all mystery and power one minute, business as usual the next. Ah well.
BER: Why are you all laughing?
RAM: I'll brief you later.
Ramos' hopes are dashed. Well done, Ikora.

Report of Geographer Quist, OS-I6 12, for Owl Sector, on TRANSMISSION.
Quiet? In the observatory? I miss it already. It's his birthday, Shun says. Or it feels like it. To celebrate, he brought, of all things, an arcophone. I wish he were unconscious again.
An Arcophone... good god why. If only I could show this reader my immense aggravation. Let the record show that I had a terrible experience with a arcophone once. Note: Stormcallers and arcophones are not an intelligent combination. That was probably the only time I have seen my assistant, Kira Kojima, actually unhappy with me. However, if Kourakis ever finds her another one, I will not allow it in my studies or library. Ever. I digress.
An Arcophone is a musical instrument, that creates tones of sound through sonic vibrations created by the expelled energy of varying electric currents arcing between conduits.

Owl Sector Debrief to Ikora Rey, OS-I6 13
IR: Sometimes I wonder if anything good came from Clovis Bray. Their halls are bright, and yet their records can be so dark.
SHU: Clovis Bray brought us off-world for good, back in the Golden Age. They paved the way for cities and colonies. They raised Earth children on alien planets. You might have been one of them.
Despite Shun's near death experience, he remains optimistic for the future and towards Clovis Bray. What on earth does Ikora see in him?
IR: Sometimes I regret disclosing my history to you.
Could this mean that Ikora was Risen from Mars? Could she have been a employee of Clovis Bray?
Ikora most certainly has/had a very personal relationship with Owl Sector Liason Shun. She has provided little to no personal information of any kind to anyone. That she would do so to Shun is confirmation of this relationship's existence.
SHU: Anyway. If you ever decide that pursuing the mysteries of the universe and pushing the limits of power isn't your thing, you know where to find me.
IR: I wish you luck, Liaison Shun.
Hypothesis: Ikora and Shun met through the Owl Sector - Vanguard channels. Ikora was attracted to Shun's optimism and openness, something rare for a Warlock to find, especially one with Ikora's violent past. However, her duties as a Vanguard and Hidden Leader would have made it impossible to commit to a personal relationship, forcing theirs to remain a professional relationship, until Ikora is ready to make such a commitment. Given the unknown mortality rate of Guardians in relation to the lifespan of regular civilians, this is an inspiring gesture of loyalty, by Shun.

Report of Bypass Authority Berriole, OS-I6 11, for Owl Sector records, assigned to incident TRANSMISSION.
I set everything in order and sealed the room. Left the computer in there, lovely as it is, after clearing sand from the crevices. A monument.
On my way out, I looked again at the tracks I followed into that room. Clawed. Fallen, I'd say, but there are no Fallen on Mars. Odd.
Berriole discovers the first evidence of the Fallen that uncover evidence of SIVA. And its existence on Earth.
Closing mission and coming home.

Records of the Vanguard, OS-I6 13
CY6: This Shirazi character had such promise. All the potential of humankind at her fingertips. Then, scruples. Poor Clovis Bray. Poor Willa. How human.
ZAV: How lucky for us, you mean.
CY6: Now all the play's been played and all the fun's done. Back to the strategy table for old Cayde. What's next?
ZAV: We wait.
IR: Until the next unexpected menace rears its head.
Scruple: a feeling of doubt or hesitation with regard to the morality or propriety of a course of action.
This concludes the Transmission Crisis.
