Is anyone else inconsistent as hell? Lol
Okay look I'm not a pvp god or anything. Hella average. BUT I have games (usually in a row) where I have like 25 kills and 4 deaths. Every shot is on point. Snipes? Pssshhh hitting like a shotgun main claims snipers hit. All I can think is hot diggty damn I'm -blam!-ing killing this game. Then for about 10 games in a row i may scrape by with a crispy .10 KD. Trials? Trials? Shoot I'll smack people with 2200 Elos and then lose to people with 1400 Elos.. Blows my mind how inconsistent I am and it's absolutely nerve racking. Lol. Any one else feel my pain?

Happens all the time. Thats why i dont play pvp execpt iron banner. It's not us being bad. It's the way the game is designed.

OMG, I thought I was the only one! I have amazing games of 2.5 KD and after those like two games, it sends me somewhere else with people who are masters at the game! I would get so many death and so little kills and my KD is .5 sometimes. At least it's doing good at .92!

My connection to this game only is inconsistent. Somehow after 2 years this is the only online game where I get random error codes.

That's 100% me. Life of a solo player. Once destiny's matchmaking sees that you're playing good and winning games, you're immediately paired with 5 bags of potatoes.

Well if ur teams u get paired up with are not doing good then it will get to u bcuz they are letting the enemy spawn trap lol

I know exactly what you mean. For the first 2.5 years of Destiny I pretty much avoided PvP...I suck at it so why play. I did the 100 matches for Year 1 Moments of Triumph and then stopped. This year I decided to give Iron Banner a try...and did relatively well. Now the Mountaintop quest for Year 2 Moments is my PvP hurdle...and I'm killing it. Went into like 8 Rumble matches in a row and won over half with 20+ kills and 10- deaths. Then I go into other matches and I get 10- kills and 15+ deaths.

I know the feeling! One game I had 9.0 in kd and the next I had .17. And in Trials on Asylum we crushed some guys with 2000+ ELO and then lost to people with even worse stats than us!

All my games outcome is based on connection. Either I can get hit markers or I can't. Last night I dropped some 3.0-7.0kd games in between I wasn't even a 1.0

Happens all the time. Some people blame SBMM because it tries to keep you at a 1.0kd or wherever your at, so basically they think it's rigged to boost you every few matches than shot on you the others. While I never honestly believe it there have been moments where I've been like.... Wrt... It must be true! Lol

My KD graph looks like a mountain range. I jus went on a 2hr19min win streak with a bunch of randos, then couldn't buy a win the next day. One thing I've figured out, making the lowest skilled player leader doesn't work. When I play with my pvp god-like friends they can't wait to make me leader. With them my kd is between .12-.9. By myself it's north of 1.5. I've been tracking this for months, so I'm sure the myth is busted.

2 RepliesEveryone has good and bad days. But during one day I'm quite consistent. If I have a bad moment during a game I just reset and try to approach the opponents differently.

1 ReplyI'm all over the place too man. To the point where my general K/D is right around 1.1 and I am the very model of mediocrity or probably even a bit below. I'll have a string of games with 25 kills or more and 2.8 type K/D... Then I'll have games with 6 kills and go .53 K/D. Oh well... it is what it is lol. I just try to have fun with it.

I think they worked out a deal with 343 when they sold halo and are still using the halo 2 servers. That's why kd will never be relevant in this game and you can go from a 5.0 kd one game then a .5 kd the next.
