I remember busting my butt so hard to get Thorn but then hating it so much -- even though I loved the look of the gun. Ammo capacity was so low, always ran out of primary ammo when using it, had trouble handling it, and the reload was annoyingly long. Then when I was taking my 6-month break from Destiny, someone at work was bitching about how PVP sucked because everybody was using Thorn and I was shocked that it was (or became) such a good gun. :)
