(He jumps in before it closes... That means he gets in without it closing on him... Otherwise it wouldn't be qualified as jumping in before it closes. Also his left foot starts about two fifths of the way up his leg...) *He yanks his left leg through the portal just before it closes and lands flat on the ground.*
