Which is the BETTER player, and the player who works BETTER with a team...and you arent' going to get that information from a NUMBER. Someone who doesn't listen, gets angry easily, and doesn't play well with others is a liability. I don't care what his light level is, or how many "completions" he has. I don't want him. As someone once said to me in a job interview. If you're still 'learning' after your 15th tibial nailing...there's something wrong with you. His point was there is a point where "experience" is no longer instructive or an indicator of skill, because the task simply isnt' that difficult....but is insead just a lazy way of convincing yourself that you are making skill-or experience based judgements. Someone who has complete the raid 7 legitimate times on a given difficult, knows all they need to know to complete the raid with a good team that is being well-led. The reason why people put so much emphasis on "experience" and "light level"....is that the guy with 90 clears doesnt' NEED a good team leader...and has enough experience to overcome (to an extent) poor team coordination. My first Oryx hard mode clear was light 305. All I needed was a good team leader who had a clear strategy..and understood the fight well enough HIMSELF to give me a role where my relatively low resistance to damage wouldn't be a disadvantage to the team. I, myself am a good enough player...and an experienced enough raider...that given a clear task, I could be counted on to get it done. Result. A raid team where HALF the team was below light 310 gets the Oryx fight done on the second attempt.
