I'd put them in the same underrated category as fusion rifles, most definitely.
I took a look at my special weapon kills about two weeks ago.. and I had 1000 more fusion rifle kills than sniper kills. :x!

Very nice. I ran fusion rifles for a little a while back. They were extremely satisfying and fun to use but I just couldn't get a handle on predicting the shot spread. I felt like anytime I was using them outside of shotgun range, wether or not I got a OHK was completely up to chance

I've got a decent Jabbehakke and Havoc Pigeon, but I'm too addicted to fusion rifles. The kills are just too gratifying, let alone, against opponents using their supers. -_- [spoiler]I respect you for NOT using a sniper or shotgun. 👍[/spoiler]
