Exactly it's not homophobia always it's usually just something that grosses them out but it doesn't mean they're scared of you or hate you. They just aren't gay so it makes them uncomfortable but I'm sure those same people would be your friend. Don't get me wrong there's some real bigots but in this day and age in america it's rare,rare compared to the population
