Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

Now, only a small percentage of our stuff is relevant for endgame content. So, basically we can't use $95-$100 of gear that we, not only paid for, but worked for by grinding countless hours/days. WHY?! I have the Grim Citizen 3 and I would love to use it in Trials of Osiris. I'm sure most of Year/Day 1'ers have a list of gear they would love to use. I spent an entire year finding the guns and armor that fit my playstyle for each guardian. Now, it feels like I have to "get to know" my guardians again. Every gun "balancing", every subclass "balancing", we have to "relearn/get to know" our guardians again. I loved Destiny when it came out, so did my entire friends list that I made through destiny. Now, none of them play any significant amount of time. Why do you think that is??? Because the game was better when it came out. Yes, it was lacking some story. Yes, the exotic/hard to get guns were powerful but that's what was fun. That's what was exciting, we were powerful, we were guardians. Now, what? The game is weak, a watered down version of its former self. As it stands right now, I won't spend another dollar on any destiny content. Even if you reversed everything now, it's too late. I've already dismantled too much for it to matter now. If the game had forward progression with all my gear, I would have bought all destiny content until there was no more to buy. Just for the record, I bought everything 3 times, for my wife, our son, and myself. Destiny $60, TDB+HOW $35, TTK w/exotics $80. $175x3=$525 I've spent on destiny, to have most of it irrelevant. You ruined it with the "balancing", the matchmaking and with TTK taking away Year 1 relevancy. So, my wish is that, from now on, just make your game and leave it alone. This game was GREAT, the most fun game I've ever played with my family and friends. All I ask is that you don't listen to crybabies in the future. Make your game and know that it is great, it is awesome, it is amazing. Don't second guess yourself because of people crying. You made the game what it was at release because that's what it was supposed to be. Edit: I even bought the sparrow racing book and dropped extra on emotes also.
