For the record ecxision is pretty cool. Wouldn't necessarily categorize it into edm though. It's more dubstep which some is pretty good. I actually really like Pendulum as well which is like a drum and bass group. When I refer to edm, and I know how broad it is, so I apologize, but I'm talking about the new Zedd songs that they play on the radio and the new Justin bieber album which could easily be classified as an edm album. Songs like that.

Love pendulum. Also when people say edm it's referring to pretty much everything electronic like dubstep, dnb/drumstep, Electro, techno, house (and all of its subgenres) moombathon/core glitch hop etc.

This whole trying to categorize genres is what brought the term edm that term just brings all this kind of "alternative" if you will, music into one big genre which is what is listened to in festivals and the likes. Dubstep is my shit specially the heavy stuff but I'll also listen to other stuff too.
