Crimson Doubles UNKNOWN REWARDS!!!!
Last night, I managed to get all my bounties done on my Titan. I was hoping to get something nice and special for the Unknown rewards. Given this is a special event.
And what did I get? Half eaten box of chocolates?!!

I thought the game engine was suppose to know what I have equipped (a 317 ghost) on and prevent things like that.
The game mode is nice and fun, but the rewards are as-usual.... very disappointing. I know its RNG and all, but #Bungie could add more good and rewarding loot to the pool.
Any thoughts anyone?
Edit 1: Thanks for your feedback all. Looks like most Guardians got decent rewards. I'll see what I get for my other 2.
Edit 2: I'm using year 2 weapons. Maybe after I'm finished completing all the bounties, I'll try Vex, Thorn. We'll see.
Edit 3: This post in no way, form or shape is meant to say I don't like the game or this event. I think the game is great in its own way.. Rewards as always, could be improved.

Doesn't help that the bounties are weekly only. I'm already done all of them.

Playing at ~315 most of the time... my reward was an emote. I agree the Playlist is really fun but I feel like I have a better chance at winning the next 1.5 billion dollar lottery than getting a 320 ghost

I have been playing the game since release. I continue to play the crap out of totems in the raid, but can never get a ghost drop past 317 light (though I have several of those). I played a ton of SRL in hopes of finally getting a 320 helmet or class item. Niether of the possible drops ever came to me at 320. I have 3 characters all easily at 319 light. I admittedly am not a big fan of crucible but have been grinding it out. Destiny advertised 320 ghosts as drop items for crimson doubles. I missed the part where the 320 light ghost would be the rarest item currently in destiny drop rotation. Why would I want to spend hours in the crucible doubles grinding out a 320 ghost, if the odds are against me for ever getting it!?

4 RepliesPretty sure the rewards are based on your current light level. My bet is that you had a few year one weapons on that brought your light level down.

6 RepliesThe ghosts are scaled to your light level. So if at the end of a match if your rocking year one weapons you are getting a lowlight ghost.

So far I have only gotten an emote, a 309 Ghost which I already own a 317. Some low level engrams at about 260....holding out hope I get something better.

Game mode was fun while it lasted, about 15 games for me, then it got stale. What really rustled my jimmies was the rewards. They were all trash, didn't get any choco ghost or the supposedly high light ghost. All legendary engrams that I got, turned em to marks. And that unknown reward? Friend got exotic, what I got was an emote box... Srsly? An emote box, then just to piss me off more, bungo/RNGesus decided to give me a blue emote. All in all, a 'meh' update, now give me some PvE content!

310 Hard Light and an emote on my 315 warlock. I didn't expect much. Sounds like i came out better than most but honestly I'm over exotics now(received almost every exotic now). TBH-give me a legendary weapon...
