That's one of the weirdest things ever.
You are a primarily PvE player, (insanely low medal score) yet you don't have defender unlocked. You obviously took a huge break because you played the beta, but have such low Grimoire. If you played in the VoG and the CE days why would you not have Defender?
Also, I would probably have kicked you too.
The reason they wanted defender was because maybe the said it in the lfg, or they want to get it done fast. Fast is understandable. Why have a useless person that can't help with supers?

i just made a titan . yes im a taken king new kid (two months ago) . BUT , first thing i leveled is my defender (knowing thats what people look for in raids) . i can pvp without a super so it was a common sense choice to me . but i also made my titan for the pve reason ..

I don't have defender leveled up yet. I did on another titan so yes, I am quite aware that it is needed...I just can't be -blam!-ed leveling it.

See, at least you were smart enough to level it on another Titan. He played through [u][i][b]BOTH[/b][/i][/u] year one raids and didn't level up defender. Why would anyone do that? I mean, there was a time about 2 months after Dark Below that there was almost nothing fun to do. Why not level it in crucible? Still one of my favorite sub-classes.
