Well, I really like this game but in my opinion here various reasons some players might have left the game. The game is described as a shared world shooter... The shared is true and the shooter is also true but the world... That is part of the problem your world is huge but yet way too small. When I initially heard about destiny you had mentioned creating environments like the choked jungles of the Mumbai push and old Chicago and the European dead zone. (As per the game developers conference 2013) All of which caught my imagination. But instead we were given only old Russia on earth and even worse you limited the amount of area we could actually explore... and then you announced one map per planet. This limited the game so much especially for patrol. Yes patrol has variety but it's the same old map day in and day out. It was my favourite mode but quickly got boring. Look at the upcoming game (Tom Clancy's ghost recon wildlands) the environments look MASSIVE! As they should be. Exploring in a fast paced shared world shooter would make your patrol mode so much more engrossing! That's the point of having a sparrow. I remember your vidoc stating: the world is alive and things will happen that we do not control. That to me meant... Huge open world that I can explore with my friends. Where I will randomly discover secrets of our golden age and bring them back to the city in order to regain lost technology. Random attacks out of nowhere from various aliens where they could receive reinforcements because my fireteam is kicking ass! Ancient sites and cities to explore... I could go on and on but you get the idea. Give us more of this awesome world. I don't want to see the dreaded "turn back" and countdown of doom. Another small problem is having to go back to orbit to take on another mission... If you are already on earth and want to do another mission or even a patrol you should simply be able to go there with your fire team. There should be no need to go back to orbit. Take some tips from WoW on that one. Lastly, and this is a small thing. It would be good if players could change their names for each character. It's only 3 per person... A lot of people did not anticipate a cool game like destiny when they created their PS network account... If you have a female toon with an obvious male name it just looks silly. Perhaps give people a week for first dibs to keep their account name then if not it's fair game. Either way the point of all this is to say I remember reading that when halo was first made it was supposed to be a 3rd person perspective game but you changed it to first person because it was better and it evolved. I think bungie should embrace more aspects of the MMO genre and allow the game to reach it's full potential! A massive open world where there's regular intense action and loads of secrets and near endless exploration... Oh hell yes sign me up!
