AFKing in STRIKES
Unlocked my quest for the New Monarchy Exotic class item on my Warlock yesterday. Ran my 10 strikes in Heroic and I noticed something. Almost every strike had someone AFK and grab rewards at the end. Some guys were trying to be clever and would scoot forward, shoot, then hide once we engaged the enemy. Heroic strikes aren't ball-busting, but running them with only 2 as opposed to a full team can be painful.
The worst strike I had by far had a guardian named (had to remove name but will post vid tomorrow). If you see him in strikes, just leave. If you see him in crucible, own him. This piece of siht did nothing but tuck himself into corners and shoot only when we were looking. He was completely absent and hiding in a nook in the wall at the boss. Then when the boss died, guess what dropped?

I had as many assists as he had kills.(29, I had 139 kills at the end) And he gets the one gun I still haven't managed to get. Bungie, you need to do something to stop people from cruising through strike playlists and reaping the rewards because this is stupid. And it's like this a for almost every strike I join.

Ah... so many AFK'ers iv'e killed using my sparrow in Y1 hahahaha. Still can't get the stains out! Wasn't hard since a lot of the strikes in Y1 allowed sparrow use in the beginning lolz.

I had 2 guys AFK in elimination. They were there just for the points to complete the quest I guess. We were up against a trials team and they got an easy run lol. I did get one round win by myself with a well placed and timed GG shot. The next round the other team killed those 2 and cornered me then waved and danced. I was then completely destroyed but at least the other team understood what happened to me

5 RepliesPeople that get the most kills should get the better rewards. Even in crucible someone with 0 kills will get better rewards than the top player. It makes no sense at all

I did the nightfall one time with 2 random players , I think it was the shield bros from start to finish. I had 139 kills , hunter 39 kills , warlock 29 kills I get a ghost shell at 296 ( I was 307 at the time) Hunter gets 310 auto rifle Warlock gets 310 exotic chest

Bungie should add a boot system. Players can vote on booting a player due to whatever reason. Of course this system will have its flaws as it duo's will kick that one random from time to time to be "that guy", but it will get rid of what is happening. Maybe just take that system and kinda find a nice design for it and it could work very well.

Don't forget to report these guys everyone! Just quitting and denying their rewards is not enough, if we report al these morons enough Bungie might finally act on them or at least give us a vote-to-kick option

I refuse to do the strike. I equip the trials auto rifle and keep shooting them until they play or leave. Even if it wastes my time!

2 RepliesOnly time I ever go afk is to take a quick piss or something.. sorry if I'm gone for a minute or so :P Every other time I'm about to go afk, I try finishing the strike out and leave matchmaking if I know I'll take a bit longer.

I was in a fire team and someone had been afk for nearly the whole strike. I kicked him and said "playing the game really helps", oh the hate.
