A 302 messaged me today..
About 2 weeks ago, I was approached by a 302 in the tower, asking me if I'd help him through the KF raid. He'd never raided before and felt more comfortable joining a group experienced enough that they could still complete it despite any potential mistakes he may make.
The poor guy was desperate to increase his light level, and because he'd never had any luck finding a team had his fingers crossed for some good drops. I told him that if he had 20 mouldering shards Oryx would drop an extra piece of gear. Unfortunately though, I had to log off for the night.
I received the following message a few hours ago:

He spent the past 2 weeks farming a little over 700 hadium flakes.

6 RepliesHaven't done any raids period. Helped CE hard once and that's all and I'm year one. Doesn't make u a scrub just less fortunate, cause good solid teams that can help and not b quick to criticize r hard to come by. Those that r willing to help r the "REAL" kick-ass players and "TRUE" veterans of this game IMO.

If the kid is on Xbone, send me his info. I'd be glad to take a dedicated guardian through the raid. Maybe you shouldn't look at it as being a scrub, you should look at it as; He obviously devoted a lot of time and effort into the advice you gave him. He was willing to work his ass off to be ready, and you just cut him off? You need to get the -blam!- out of here. I don't like being rude on the forums, but you deserve it. Asswipe.

You are a prick. That player just proved he is willing to take directions and work his ass off to meet a goal. That's the the exact player you want on your team. Ppl like you are everything that is wrong wrong with the community. Also a perfect example of how trying to get into a group for a raid is way to inconvenient and inconsistent. Access to the end game shouldn't involve dealing with this shit.
