Who did "Shindig in the Crucible" Legit?
So I wan't to know who completed this part of the quest only going through full games w/ the Last Word equipped from [u]start to finish[/u]. I had lots of fun doing this also SRL is cheating in my opinion.

Edit: I had done it legit and it is difficult but very fun and challenging.

It wasn't too bad, you just have to get used to the gun. I got it done over the course of a day.

7 RepliesI had the quest glitched for me. found out why. y1 TLW. kills with TLW gave 1 deaths took 2. no points for secondary, melee, grenade, super, or heavy kills. got to 75 or so %. then switched my loadout to stormcaller/ shotgun. got some good killstreaks in. 3 matches later. was at 0 renowned. after testing i found only the HC kills counted. and only for 1. gave up on it. now i got TLW y2. and tested it again when i got it. all kills count and quest works as it should. took me 3 matches to get to 78. it's A LOT easier this time around. lol. Moral of the story. Make sure you use the Y2 last word.

If you can't kill, do SRL with it equipped. 3% for each match you don't blow up in. Literally cam go AFK

7 headshots with Imprication took me way longer than kills with TLW equipped. I had 6 headshots like 4 games in a row. Finally got 7 a couple games later.

Even Bungie hates crucible! Anyone notice how in two weeks of SRL we have had two events. However, none in regular crucible in over a year. I get it Mr. developers but apparently you do to.

1 ReplyI did it legit and as an ~average player I had fun completing the quest I don't know why people would play games just to find ways to cheat the system or whatever you want to call it.

I hated it the first time I did it since I didn't know that secondary and heavy kills counted. I did it completely legit with only The Last Word. I got good with Last Word and did it in Trials on my titan after that.

Then again, that was mainly on mayhem a few months back so one could argue that was cheesy. Edit: used weapon swapping method/cheese before SRL arrived. Definitely would've waited for SRL if I knew it was going to be a viable option though Never figured out how to use TLW effectively at any point in Destiny's evolution. Did thorn and first curse bounties legit as bad as I am though.,.

3 RepliesAmanda gives the quest. Amanda hosts SRL. SRL is legit. Hit rank 3 for Crucible yesterday, got quest and went racing for a bit and knocked it out. It was brutal, 100 laps without dying. Got 2 more 320 helms as well.

i was pleasantly surprised how easy i got it done... and im bad... especially with hand cannons... but i got er done in like 4 maybe 5 games... camped out in rumble... hidin like a bitch lol that shield bros strike tho... still sittin there in my navigator... mocking me...

Did it in two, TLW is my baby, my very first exotic, so that part was ridiculously easy.

I did, in about 3 games with it equipped start to finish, I also did the Imprecation part of the First Curse quest line in my first game, I got lucky with the enemy teams I came up against haha...

I did 0-94% legit. Then I played another match and got set back all the way back to 73%. So I got really mad and just didn't do the rest until SRL came by.

I take it this was the Chaperone quest? If so, I did it legit, and IMO, it was a waste of time. Chaperone sucks!
