I mean if you know what your doing its fine, I did HM oryx as a 302 and never once died

You can do the challenge on normal and get guaranteed 310 drops. Also it's easy to do the raid at that light level all the way up to Oryx, and hopefully along the way you'll get the right drops to bring you above 310.
