Book fixed in 24 hours, yet thorn took 8 months to fix, bungie cares about $ not players- 30 DOLLARS FOR LEVEL UPS ON PSN STORE LOL
Amazing how fast they put out a patch late at night to fix their wallet yet still screw over thousands of players with broken game mechanics. Hell, since TTK released the raid has had multiple bugs yet they go unfixed. Bungie in danger of losing some 10 dollar sales on their TWO MAP, ONE MODE "FREE EVENT"? patch overnight.
If you still support them after this you're nothing but a silver sucking desticle.
EDIT: let's see you defend bungie now, children. Cosmetics only, right guys? Paying for free dlc, right guys? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shout out to people who waited months to get all 50 fragments and only got a timegated shader LOL

2 Replies1. A hot fix is different than a patch, hot fixes only take a couple hours 2. They fixed other things 3. Why do you care? Its an optional book, and who cares about the gear when you can earn tons of other gear by just playing? I feel like the only people who are salty about this situation are the people who exploited the glitch, yet still feel more entitled to the gear than the people who actually payed for it.

14 RepliesWell it's not just their pockets in which they are saving but all the people who actually bought the book and would have complained if it hadn't. People actually spent money on the book, I'm pretty sure you couldn't buy the thorn (although that would be fairly cool)

I miss the bungie we had back in the good ol halo days. I didnt think micro transactions would hurt anything but with this event im starting to think differently. And this patch was crazy fast which means there is no reason they cant do the same with other things. No matter destiny is still my favorite game just sucks that it has to have this crap in it.

This isnt about them caring about money. This has to do with people who spent money getting shafted because non money users found an exploit. Of course they had to fix this fast or the ramifications would have been nuch much worse.
