Depends on the type of round. Maybe a slug but buck shot at distance is just going to piss someone off.

Depending on the gun and the choke you're using, buckshot still can easily kill at meters away. Shotguns in destiny wont be able to kill unless pointblank anymore. Anyways its just a game and trying to make these guns realistic would ruin the game. If someone wants to play realistic games then they could go play bf4
