Hes just saying, Marines go Oorah, and you never call a Marine soldier. Theyre either Marines or Troopers. Those of us in the US Army are called soldiers, or warriors.
The first one isn't a big deal but for Marines it's oorah.
Second, Marines aren't soldiers. You never call a Marine a soldier. Also you wouldn't call OP a Marine because he hasn't yet earned the title. Soon he'll be a recruit/pvt. Or his DI will probably call him something along the lines of maggot.
True, all true. My DS called me F***ker. Im a soldier, not a Marine. But i know quite a few Marines. Went to AIT in Fort Lee, the Marine barracks was immediately to the left of mine
