Shame that we have 50,000 homeless vets and yet Obama wants to cater an all expenses paid relocation for 10,000 Syrians who haven't done a damn thing for this country.

Well maybe if the Republicans didn't kill every single bill designed to help veterans, you would have a valid argument.

Obama could have just as easily chose to invest the funds he wants to spend on these refugees to at least build centers for these vets who have made sacrifices for this country. But no, lets hand out a house, car, computers, and other crap to every single Syrian family to resettle here.

He can't just say "hey guys you know the funds I was going to use for the refugees? Well I'm going to use it for vets instead!" He needs to go though the whole process. Which others have already told you, would be shot down by Republicans.

No, but he'll sure as hell try to use an executive order to push his refugee agenda if needed. Doubt he'd do the same for vets.

To be fair he has tried multiple times during his time in office. But well it never really goes anywhere.

It really doesn't matter whose fault it is, veteran affairs are an embarrassment to this nation regardless of partisan politics. Anyone who dons the uniform of our armed forces deserves our thanks. Good luck, OP, be safe and make your family proud.
