Are you sure it's not a distance / dmg fall off issue rather than an accuracy issue?
I haven't noticed any difference other than at the longest ranges.

If it has something to do with distance and damage drop off, then I'm guessing you now need to be within shotgun range to be effective lol because I was easily within fusion rifle range...
