Should Old Raids Be Relevant Again?
I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!

I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!

Yes and they should make a raid drop or a group of drops or a quest or something that allows you to make a weapon of your choice adept. This would allow more of a variety and still give us the ability to have primary weapons with a burn.

Simple solution. Refresh the VOG/Crota's End loot table to add legendary raid gear that is updated. Remove element burns if need be. Keep them on Vex and Necro.

Biggest mistake is making old raids pointless, they should at least drop items that we can turn in for prizes. Like packs or something.

3 RepliesEdited by Crimson: 11/9/2015 2:47:41 AMWorld of warcraft raids never moved up in difficulty with each new expansion. It comes with the mmo aspect. The raids are sometimes kept relevant by having certain quests tie into them, but that's it. It's nothing new in the mmo world.

6 RepliesYou people have to understand that stuff will be left behind its how MMO work, when a new expansion comes put old content and gear get left behind. They should focus on new cooler year 2 content. Also it wouldn't make sense story wise, especially with crota which is the entire reason the Taken king expansion happened.

Would it not be simpler to just have a level 40/290 raid added; They have just released a hard mode for Kings Fall, which does just that. You get higher level light *supposedly* of pretty much the same gear from Normal mode. Implementing that into a 'Nightmare' mode to the old raids would give you higher light armour/weapons... Although I think something in the next DLC drop would give us something like Ethereal Light that will enable us to bring that gear up to this year light level - Of course you would have to be level 40 and light 290 to obtain it and thus need to purchase the new DLC along with Taken King in order to obtain said 'thing' we get what we want, Bungie/Activision get more money... Um, kinda Win/Win?

You can only tun a single raid over and over again which gives you loot, so you want old raids, which you have (probably) already run over and over again. Instead of one boring thing, you want many boring things. VoG and CE would need some serious changes for me to ever want to run them again. I kinda see your point, but I don't think Bungie will ever do it either way.

Without it they are stuck as level 34 or light 150 or whatever. That would mean bungie wont make money. Idk how to explain it but basically people dont need to buy ttk if year 2 gear with high light are added

Have old raids drop current exotics lvl 280. Have old raids drop current blues, lvl 280 to 300. Have old raids drop vendor purples lvl 280 to 300. Now the old raids are relevent, and dont out shine the new raid.
