Should Old Raids Be Relevant Again?
I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!
Edit 1: Wow that's...that's a lot of votes. I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!

Of course. Everyone wants to see this. It took all week to run vog 3 times, crota 3 times, three nightfalls, and 9 prison of elders.. now i do three hm raids and three nightfalls in one day, and i'm done for the entire week. I'm sure countless others feel the same way.

In an upcoming update its said the Petra can use etheric light for something. That might bring some interest back to poe

Sure, why not. [spoiler]The first time I ever decrypted a legendary engram, it was around this time last year. I got ascendant shards, which no longer exist. For those who don't know, shards were rather useless. Stood in front of my tv for a while, staring at those shards. Rahool wins the title of sneakiest bastard ever.[/spoiler]

9 RepliesPOE yes, it should have a harder mode. However, the vault should be left alone. Same as Crota's End. The point is to move forward in content, not back. You can always come back and play it, but it shouldn't be the main focus.

They need legit reasons for us to do all of them. I wonder if they worry that people won't learn new raids if they can keep running the old ones for the same equivalent items. What they could do is have a weekly raid with better stuff, just like they do with everything else.

Yes, ideas: 1. The Taken where already investigating the Vault of Glass as evidenced by the Paradox mission. Seems like that was a test run on how Bungie would implement a VoG Taken Raid. 2. The Cabal could be interested in Crota's End to learn more about their enemy. They may not know we killed Oryx and so are still investigating anything about The Hive/Taken. The Vex are also interested after Taken broke into the VoG. They're only purpose in the Raid is to create an alternate timeline where Crota still lives (like Praedyth in the VoG). This way the Vex can learn by watching us kill Crota over and over while fending off the ignorant Cabal who don't know Crota and Oryx already died in our timeline. The problem is Luke Smith said there would be no elemental primaries (VoG Year 1 rewards). I guess Zhalo doesn't count. Maybe he meant legendary elemental primaries. Anyhow, because of that they must change the rewards. I think these are neat ideas to make them relevant. I'm sure others can be better/more creative.

Watch the next dlc have no new raid but the older ones with better loot. They cant resist re using old assets.

It would be cool even if they made infusion on old raid gear but only allow other raid gear to be infusion fuel. It makes all raids relevant without having to retune. But, I also think that adjusting level and difficulty by damage output to keep raids at current light level should be easy enough and more fun than my first suggestion.

It's not just the old raids that are irrelevant, it's everything in the game that was released prior to TTK. Bungie keeps neutering the game with each DLC.
