He might very well have chosen to use them, but if we are being honest, a choice between a weapon that does have a burn and one without, isn't a choice at all. Why would you want to hobble yourself by not using primary burns?

Lol I'm not hobbling myself because certain elemental primaries aren't good in every situation. Hell none of them are good in every situation. I changed my loadout multiple times depending on what I was doing.

I'm talking more about the damage type than the use of specific weapons. An elemental damage type will always be superior to standard kinetics.

Exactly, so now we are just tied to using elemental secondaries and heavies, because primaries are worthless. That's less "variety"... duh derp!

I have a zhalo, and I use it unless I'm at oryx or the witches, in which case I swap to ToM.
