That sounds like a great idea... but 2500 for 3 weapon parts is a pretty brutal bargain.

before you dismantle anything put a couple of motes of light into the weapon with some exp on it it drops more weapon parts, glimmer, and motes

I normally receive 5 for an exotic, but I agree that it isn't stellar in any way, just that if you got spare glimmer and need parts fast to buy perks, you can bypass the problem with glimmer. This doesn't fix in any way the problem about looting parts normally though.
