I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

Played last night and did the nightfall. I got a 292 helmet which is useless, another got a thunder lord ( duplicate... So much for less chance of dups), and the guy that joined at the end to kill the boss got a 307 hunter cloak...like blam that!

I ran the nightfall with a friend last night and we both got Void Hunter cloaks. His was 306 and mine was 284 but we were both happy as we hadn't gotten them previously. That was just a drop and not the end reward. I received 13 three of coins which I didn't mind considering 5 of those costs 7 strange coins. My buddy received a 4th horseman at 303. I feel the rewards were totally fine.

I got a 300 Jabberhakke sidearm.. lol. probably won't ever use it, but still better than getting some 280 junk. XD

Some friends got almost twenty strange coins. I got skyburners annex. I feel like it's better now. Especially when I'd get three strange coins the last couple of weeks.

They did make it better someone in my fireteam got a 307 gauntlets

Rather the 3ofC than the two 290 side arms I received... The 308 helmet I'm not complaining about though. Step in a positive direction, but it's still rng so you are going to get touched most of the time.

I received 20 strange coins on first run and a 284 legendary scout on the second run. I didn't come to the forum to cry though.

I got a 310 exotic helmet for my titan so yeah it has been improved...there's a chance for the really good drops so just be patient

2 RepliesI got a 300 ghost shell and a 300 class item while all my characters already have over that. Watched a clan mate get a 306 helm while I was wearing a 293 rare quality. Smart loot my cojones.

I got 310 Don't Touch Me gloves.... Both friends got mid/upper 290's light legendary armor (Don't remember exactly what though) and some motes (lol)

I got 303 gauntlets, which is a nice reward. My raid gauntlets are 306, but at least I can infuse these new ones into an exotic or maybe on another character. A guy with whom I was playing got a snazzy 300+ ghost shell. That is an awesome reward, actually.

This is what should have been done: No buff with rep in NF needed, just give us 400-500 rep for faction/vanguard.....what's wrong with that? Guaranteed 2 rewards every time. First reward slot: Legendary/Exotic weapon or armor piece ranging from 290-310 light(legendary more likely to drop....exotic less likely). Second reward slot: Charged antiquated rune, 25 motes, 9 strange coins, ghost shells or 30C.....anything like this If this were the case I would feel the NF would be worth it
