Even more simple. All they have to do is disable the purple helmet that is required to be worn for the glitch to work. Make that helmet none usable in trials or even for the whole game until it's fixed.

No one better be seriously considering taking my shadestep/Keen scout combo from me. That is like 80% of the reason to run Nightstalker! I was gonna say "that's punishing all the players for something that only affects half of them" but it occurs to me I don't really know what percentage of guardians are regular Crucible players and what stick to PvE. I know I stay far away from the Crucible except to get my daily marks.
