How do you get ecthar to come out? (I know you kill the 3x warden knights with super; does it have to be all 3 by one guardian super or just all 3 dead by a super; As in 2-3 guardians kill em all with their supers?)

You just have to kill them all within like 5 or 10 sec, no super needed. I just got them all down to a sliver of health then threw a grenade at one and shot the other two real quick

How did you get the quest? I have the leg. sword but no quest to get the exotic one.

Upgrade your legendary sword to max then u will get the quest for the exotic.

I only have 7 guardian kills in the crucible.

Next step is doing ability kills and collecting special materials depending on your sword element - mine were relic iron so it was called relic... something. Anyways drop chance is 5-10% and you need 10 of these. Get a ghost with a spinmetal/relic iron/helium filaments perk and a sniper rifle, a bag of crisps and a nice drink, call your best buddy or watch some tv and just do it. As for myself I had a party with my best buddy, he was on earth and I've been on mars and everytime I had my super ready I dropped it on some cabal, did a melee, dropped a grenade and in the end we did it in an hour or so. Well then you only have to wait until armsday and you get a 42 strike at the sunless cell where you have to kill an enemy depending on (you guessed it) your sword element. I haven't done it either ;)

Ah, okay. Getting someone to help isn't a problem, at least with the waiting. My boyfriend is always playing Destiny with me.

Seriously everyone is complaining about the part where you collect these special elements but it's just a bit time consuming. The strike is the heavy part. All the best to you and your boy and very good luck :)
